Relax and enjoy the beauty of Lake Lure, North Carolina. Visit one of the ten most beautiful man-made lakes in the world, according to National Geographic Magazine. In addition to fish, you're likely to see other area wildlife such as herons, ducks, turtles, an occasional bald eagle and maybe deer swimming across the lake.

These trips are our specialty, a private guided fishing trip on the lake. Up to three people per outing, reservations may be made for a half day (approximately 4 hours) or a whole day (8 hours).

Depending on the season, we fish for trout, white bass, large and small mouth bass, crappie and catfish.

All equipment is provided as are light snacks and bottled water. Beginner to advanced skills are welcome. Michael provides professional instruction in casting, rod and reel selection and use, knot tying and lure selection and retrieval.

NOTE: Participants over the age of 16 must have a NC fishing license. Short term ten day licenses may be purchased at several locations in the area.
